My Story

I am occupational therapist who specializes in pelvic health and vaginismus recovery. I graduated with my Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Florida in 2014. Since then, I have loved getting to partner alongside dozens of men and women in their battles to overcome set-backs, fears, and mental & physical limitations. One of my greatest joys is getting to see someone finally participate and enjoy something that has personal meaning.

In 2011 I got married to the best man in the world. Our honeymoon was fantastic, but sex was a challenge. It took 4 years of dismissive doctors before I finally received the diagnosis of Vaginismus.

Various healthcare professionals offered less-than-ideal advice, probably similar to the advice you’ve heard- “Drink a glass of wine” “Just try harder” “Watch p*rn together”. This advice left me confused and angry. I was left feeling like there had to be a better way.

I spent the next several years struggling through my vaginismus recovery. Despite being diligent with dilating and doing all of my breathing & exercises, I “failed out” of pelvic floor therapy 4 times (which is embarrassing given I’m an occupational therapist). I was told numerous times “There’s not much else we can do, it’s probably more a psychological thing at this point”. So I saw sex therapists and counselors (most of whom I had to educate on what vaginismus is), none of which really helped.

After 8 years of battling vaginismus I was fed up and decided to take charge of my recovery. I figured, maybe I didn’t fail out of the traditional vaginismus treatments, maybe these treatments failed me?

Maybe I didn’t fail out of the traditional vaginismus treatments, maybe these treatments failed me?

Using the holistic science of my background as a neuro-science informed occupational therapist, I applied a Mind-Body Neuromodulation approach and I was able to finally recover from vaginismus and enjoy pain-free intimacy (and no, I don’t do any maintenance dilating!).

After talking with other women with vaginismus (particularly Christian women), I realized my story was not unique. Many women are dismissed and provided with questionable treatment options. Many women face a long, slow, and frustrating journey of endless dilating and pelvic floor therapy while feeling hopeless and discouraged. I was determined to change this. I decided to inspire others and help them adopt a proven approach. So I developed my strategy into a comprehensive guided & researched-based program to help other women break free of the pain-cycle of vaginismus to enjoy fun, pain-free sex, without having to question their morals. And that is my plan for you!

It’s Time!

Let’s talk about how we can change your story.

My Passion and my hope is for women to have pain-free, great sex without compromising their morals or complicating their recovery.”
